We had a busy day today! Here’s a partial list of our activities for the day:
- Went for a horse ride
- Lost our horses while we were admiring sheep (we’ll tell you about it)
- Saw the original location of the oldest continuous parliament in the world
- Saw a powerful waterfall (Gullfoss)
- Watched the Strokkur Geyser do its thing several times
- Had dinner in “our” apartment with an American French teacher that was on our tour
Again, we have very little time to blog, but we hope you’ll enjoy the video of Strokkur in action below. Tomorrow, we’re flying to Akureyri to see a volcano and possibly some whales!

xoxoxo,
Mom
Wow, that thing really blows!!
The geyser surprised us in the video; you sounded very poised on the video! Maybe it wasn’t your first “take”. I’ve never seen one live unless you count what happens on the golf course. Have fun.
Love, Dad XOXOXO
Hi Luc-Roc and Michelle;
Thanks for keeping the blog going! I was there, and I am reliving it through this.
I was hoping you might be able to do me a favor. I left at the hotel my Ironman Finisher fleece. They were supposed to give it to Tony Flice but never did. Is your apartment close to the hotel? If so would you be able to pop in and see if they have it (they e-mailed me to say they did)…You guys are the last people I know that are still there. Normally I would not care about the fleece, but it is my finishers one so has special meaning. If you can’t do it no problem!
