Michelle and I just came back from the Victory Dinner, which was held at the Iðnó restaurant, with a wonderful view of a pond.

We were very quiet today. Michelle needed more sleep after breakfast, so I browsed the shops on Laugavegur for a while, but many of the shops are closed on Sundays.

We went to the Laugardalslaug public pool, where we spent most of time in a “hot pot”, which is a smaller pool with very warm water. It was very relaxing!

We also booked some day trips for the coming week. We’ll be doing the “Golden Circle” and horse-back riding on Wednesday, as well as a day trip by plane to Akureyri, the second-biggest city in Iceland (with a population of only 17,200) on Thursday.

We are taking lots of photos, but we don’t have time to post most of them right now, so you’ll have to do with just a few!
